Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Campeche, head towards the Malecón, which is the waterfront promenade. Walk along the Malecón until you reach Avenida 16 de Septiembre. This should take around 15 minutes. Turn left onto Avenida 16 de Septiembre and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Cto Baluartes. Puerta de Tierra will be located on your right. It is a short walk from here.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Locate a nearby bus stop in the city center. Take any bus that is heading towards Zona Centro. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off near Av Cto Baluartes. The journey should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you get off, walk towards Av Cto Baluartes, and Puerta de Tierra will be a short walk away on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in the city. Head towards the Malecón and follow it until you reach Avenida 16 de Septiembre. Turn left and continue straight until you reach Avenida Cto Baluartes. Puerta de Tierra will be on your right. The bike ride should take around 10 minutes.
