Getting There

• Bus

  To get to Isla Blanca from the hotel zone in Cancun, head to the nearest bus stop on Boulevard Kukulcan. Look for a bus labeled 'Puerto Juárez' or 'Isla Blanca.' The fare is quite inexpensive. Once on the bus, stay on it for about 30-45 minutes until you reach the bus terminal at Puerto Juárez. From there, you will need to transfer to a local colectivo (shared taxi) heading towards Isla Blanca. The colectivo will drop you off at the entrance of Isla Blanca. Just remember to confirm with the driver that they are heading to Isla Blanca before getting on.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your hotel or current location in Cancun to Isla Blanca. Simply tell the driver 'Isla Blanca' and they will know the destination. The ride typically takes around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. It's advisable to negotiate the fare beforehand or ensure the driver uses the meter.

• Bicycle Rental

  For the more adventurous tourists, consider renting a bicycle. Many rental shops are available in the hotel zone. From the hotel zone, head towards the main road (Avenida Tulum) and follow the signs to Isla Blanca. The ride is approximately 20 kilometers and can take around 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Ensure you stay hydrated and wear sunscreen, as the sun can be intense.
