Walking
If you are in downtown Cancun, the Cancun Sign is located in the Hotel Zone. Begin by heading southeast on Avenida Tulum toward Avenida Yaxchilan. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Avenida Bonampak. Turn left onto Avenida Bonampak and walk for about 1 km until you see the signs for the Hotel Zone. Once you reach the Hotel Zone, follow the avenue until you spot the Cancun Sign at the intersection with Boulevard Kukulcan.

Public Bus
From downtown Cancun, take the R1 or R2 public bus from any of the bus stops along Avenida Tulum. The fare is approximately 12 pesos (about 0.60 USD). The bus will take you directly to the Hotel Zone. After around 20-30 minutes, get off at the stop near the Cancun Sign (ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Hotel Zone). Walk a few minutes to the Cancun Sign, which will be located at the intersection of Boulevard Kukulcan.

You can also hail a taxi from anywhere in downtown Cancun to the Cancun Sign. The taxi fare may range from 80 to 150 pesos (approximately 4 to 7.50 USD), depending on your exact location in downtown. Make sure to confirm the fare before the ride. The taxi will take you directly to the Cancun Sign in the Hotel Zone, with the ride typically lasting around 15-20 minutes.
