Getting There

• Walking

  If you are located in the central part of Zona Hotelera, you can easily walk to Punta Cancun Lighthouse. Head towards Boulevard Kukulcan, the main road in the Hotel Zone. Once you reach Boulevard Kukulcan, walk in the direction of the Punta Cancun area. The lighthouse is located at Boulevard Kukulcan MZ51 LT7, a short walk from most hotels. Look for the distinctive lighthouse structure, which is visible from the main road.

• Public Bus

  For those who are not up for a long walk, you can take the public bus that operates along Boulevard Kukulcan. The buses are frequent and cost approximately 12 pesos (as of 2023). Board any bus heading towards the 'Punta Cancun' stop. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will let you know when to get off. After getting off, walk a short distance towards the water, and you will see the Punta Cancun Lighthouse nearby.

• Bicycle Rental

  Another fun way to reach Punta Cancun Lighthouse is by renting a bicycle. There are several bike rental shops along Boulevard Kukulcan, and the rental cost is usually around 150 pesos for a few hours. Once you have your bike, head towards Boulevard Kukulcan and ride in the direction of Punta Cancun. The ride is flat and easy, and you will be able to park your bike near the lighthouse once you arrive.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your hotel to Punta Cancun Lighthouse. Taxis are readily available in Zona Hotelera. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, as taxis do not have meters. The cost should be around 100-200 pesos depending on your starting point. Provide the driver with the specific address: Boulevard Kukulcan MZ51 LT7, and they will take you directly to the lighthouse.
