Getting There

• Driving

  If you're driving from Guadalajara, take the Autopista 15 towards Tepatitlán and continue on this highway. After approximately 3 hours, follow the signs for Puerto Vallarta (Highway 200). Once you arrive in Puerto Vallarta, head towards the city center and look for signs directing you to Malecón. Los Arcos is located at Malecón s/n, Centro, 48300 Puerto Vallarta. Parking may be available nearby, but be prepared for potential costs of around $5-10 USD per hour.

• Bus

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Guadalajara to Puerto Vallarta. Buses leave frequently from the Central de Autobuses (bus terminal). The trip can take about 5-6 hours and costs roughly $30-40 MXN. Upon arriving at the Puerto Vallarta bus terminal, you can take a local taxi or an Uber to Los Arcos. The taxi ride to the Malecón area will take about 10-15 minutes and may cost around $100-150 MXN.

  If you're already in Puerto Vallarta, you can easily get to Los Arcos by taxi or rideshare (like Uber). Simply provide the driver with the address: Malecón s/n, Centro, 48300 Puerto Vallarta. The ride from most hotels in the area should take around 5-10 minutes and will typically cost between $50-100 MXN depending on your starting point. Confirm the fare beforehand to avoid surprises.

• Walking

  If you're staying close to the Centro area, Los Arcos is a beautiful destination to walk to. Just navigate towards the Malecón along the waterfront, and you will find the iconic arches at Malecón s/n, Centro, 48300 Puerto Vallarta. This is an enjoyable stroll, especially during sunset when the area is lively with street vendors and performers.
