    From San Cristóbal de las Casas, head to the main bus terminal known as 'Terminal de Autobuses ADO'. Look for buses heading towards Tenejapa. Make sure to check the schedule, as buses may not run frequently. Once you board the bus, enjoy the scenic ride that typically takes around 30-45 minutes. Inform the driver that you're going to 'Río Arcotete', and they will drop you off at the closest point to El Arcotete.

    After getting off the bus, you will need to walk approximately 1 km to reach El Arcotete. From the bus drop-off point, head down the dirt road towards the sign for 'El Arcotete'.
