Getting There

• Public Transit

  If you are starting from the center of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, head to the nearest bus stop or terminal. Look for a bus that goes towards 'Parque Morelos'. Many local buses operate in this area. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you are going to Parque Morelos. The bus ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Av 1a. Sur Pte, then walk towards the park, which is located at Av 1a. Sur Pte 1336, La Lomita.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of Parque Morelos, you can walk to the park. From the central plaza of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, head south along Avenida 5 de Febrero until you reach Avenida 1a. Sur Pte. Turn left and walk along Avenida 1a. Sur Pte for about 10-15 minutes. The park will be on your right side at number 1336.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can take a taxi. You can hail a taxi from the street or use a ride-hailing app if available. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Parque Morelos Bicentenario' located at Av 1a. Sur Pte 1336 in La Lomita. The trip should take around 10 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Head towards the southern part of the city via Avenida 5 de Febrero. Continue straight until you reach Avenida 1a. Sur Pte. Turn left and follow the avenue for a short distance until you see Parque Morelos on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
