Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Palenque, head south on Calle 16 de Septiembre until you reach the intersection with Calle 2a Norte. Turn right onto Calle 2a Norte and walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the main road, Palenque - Pakalná. Turn left onto this road and continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Cabeza Maya will be on your left, just before you reach the Pakalna neighborhood.

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Palenque, such as 'Bikes Palenque' located near the ADO bus station. After renting a bike, head south on Calle 16 de Septiembre, turn onto Calle 2a Norte, and follow the same route as mentioned above.
