Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Eastern Mexico, take the main highway towards Mexico City. Depending on your starting point, you may need to take the Mexico-Puebla or Mexico-Veracruz highways. Once you reach the outskirts of Mexico City, follow the signs for the Centro Histórico. As you approach the city center, use GPS or maps to navigate to Plaza de la Constitución. There is limited street parking available, so be prepared to use public parking garages nearby. Expect to pay around $50-$100 MXN for parking.

• Bus

  For public transportation, take a long-distance bus from your location to Mexico City. Major bus companies like ADO and Estrella Roja operate routes from various cities in Eastern Mexico to the Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros de Pasajeros de Observatorio or Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros de Pasajeros de Norte. From either terminal, take the Metro (Line 7 from Observatorio or Line 5 from Norte) to Tacuba station, then transfer to Line 1 (Pink Line) towards Pantitlán. Get off at Pino Suárez station, which is a short walk to Plaza de la Constitución where the National Palace is located.

• Metro

  If you are already in Mexico City, use the Metro to reach the National Palace. Locate the nearest Metro station and take Line 2 (Blue Line) to Pino Suárez station. From there, exit the station and head towards Plaza de la Constitución. The National Palace is located directly on the square. The Metro fare is approximately $5 MXN, and the service runs from 5 AM to midnight.

• Taxi/Ride-share

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider using a taxi or ride-sharing service like Uber. Simply input 'National Palace, P.za de la Constitución S/N, Centro Histórico, CDMX' as your destination. Fares will vary based on your starting location but expect to pay between $100 to $300 MXN depending on traffic and distance.
