Getting There

    From the historic center of Guanajuato, start at Plaza de la Paz. Head east on Calle 5 de Febrero towards Calle Miguel Hidalgo. Continue straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Calle San Francisco. Turn left onto Calle San Francisco and walk for another 300 meters until you reach Calle del Sol. Turn right and continue for 200 meters. This street will lead you to a steep incline. Follow this road uphill for approximately 600 meters. You will notice the entrance to the funicular railway on your left, which will take you directly to the Monumento Al Pipila. Alternatively, you can continue walking up the hill for a more scenic route, which will take you directly to the monument, located at Cerro de San Miguel.

    If you're near the funicular railway station, located on the corner of Calle del Sol and the road leading up to the monument, simply purchase a ticket at the booth.
