If you are in the Guanajuato Historic Center, start by heading towards the main square, Plaza de la Paz. From there, walk towards the Teatro Juárez, which is a well-known landmark. After passing the Teatro, continue straight on Avenida Benito Juárez. Keep walking for about 10-15 minutes; you will eventually reach the intersection with Calle de la Luz. Turn left onto Calle de la Luz and follow it until you reach Explanada del Panteón Municipal. The Museum of the Mummies of Guanajuato is located right at the entrance of the municipal pantheon.

Public Transport
For those who prefer a more relaxed journey, you can take a local bus from the Historic Center. Look for the bus stop near Plaza de la Paz, where several buses pass by. Take any bus that indicates it goes towards the Panteón Municipal. The fare is usually around 10-15 MXN. After a short ride of about 5-10 minutes, get off at the stop nearest to Explanada del Panteón Municipal. The museum will be just a short walk from the bus stop.
