Start at the main square, Jardín de la Unión, located in the heart of Guanajuato. From the square, head northwest towards the Callejón del Beso. Continue along Callejón del Beso until you reach Calle de la Paz. Turn left onto Calle de la Paz and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Juárez. Cross Avenida Juárez and continue walking uphill on Calle Cerro de San Miguel. Follow this street until it leads you directly to the base of the Monumento Al Pipila. The monument is located on Cerro de San Miguel, and you’ll see it as you approach. The walk takes approximately 20-30 minutes, and you will encounter some steep paths, so wear comfortable shoes.

If you're near the Plaza de la Paz, you can take the funicular to reach Monumento Al Pipila. Locate the funicular station, which is near the Teatro Juárez. Purchase your ticket at the ticket booth and board the funicular. The ride is short, taking only a few minutes as it ascends the hill.
