If you are traveling by car, start your journey in the center of Durango City. Head east on Avenida 20 de Noviembre towards Calle 5 de Febrero. Continue straight onto Calle 5 de Febrero, then turn left onto the Carretera a Cañón de Fernández (Highway 45). Follow this highway for approximately 30 kilometers. You will see signs for Parque Estatal Cañón de Fernández. The park entrance will be on your left. Make sure to check for any parking fees at the entrance.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Durango City to the town of Cañón de Fernández. Buses leave from the main bus terminal. Look for a bus that has 'Cañón de Fernández' as its destination. The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Cañón de Fernández, you may need to take a taxi or a local ride-sharing service to the park entrance, which is about 10 kilometers away. Be prepared to pay a small fare for the taxi. Confirm with the driver that they will take you to Parque Estatal Cañón de Fernández.
