Start your journey at the Matamoros Central Park, located at Avenida 6 and Calle 5. From there, walk south on Avenida 6 until you reach Calle 14. Turn left onto Calle 14 and continue walking until you reach Avenida 1. Turn right onto Avenida 1 and continue straight. You will then need to cross the border into the United States via the Gateway International Bridge, which is approximately a 20-minute walk. Once you are on the U.S. side, continue walking straight until you reach W. Huisache Street. Turn left onto W. Huisache Street and you will soon arrive at Water Tower Park, located at the intersection with Laguna Blvd.
