Getting There

    Start at the central plaza in Matamoros, known as Plaza Principal. From there, head south towards Avenida Francisco I. Madero. Walk along Avenida Madero until you reach the intersection with Calle 16 de Septiembre. Turn left onto Calle 16 de Septiembre and continue walking until you reach the pedestrian bridge over the Rio Grande, which connects Matamoros to Brownsville, Texas. Cross the bridge, where you will enter Brownsville.
