If you are starting from Plaza Hidalgo, exit the plaza and head southeast on Calle 8 towards Calle Morelos. Continue straight for about 5 blocks until you reach Calle Santos Degollado. Turn left onto Calle Santos Degollado. After about 2 blocks, you will find Fort Casamata Museum on your right at the corner of Calle Santos Degollado and Calle Guatemala.

From the Matamoros bus station, take a local bus heading towards the city center. You can ask the driver to let you know when you reach Plaza Hidalgo. Once you get off, follow the walking directions from Plaza Hidalgo to Fort Casamata Museum as outlined above.
