Getting There

• Metro

  Begin your journey at any metro station in Mexico City. If you are near the city center, head to the Bellas Artes station (Line 2 - Blue Line). From Bellas Artes, take the metro towards Cuatro Caminos and get off at the next stop, which is Pino Suárez. Transfer to Line 1 (Pink Line) at Pino Suárez and head towards Pantitlán. Get off at the next station, Isabel la Católica. From there, exit the station and walk towards the east to find Calle de 16 de Septiembre. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Avenida 16 de Septiembre. Cross the street and keep walking straight until you reach the Coyoacán area.

• Bus

  From the central area of Mexico City, locate a bus stop that services routes towards Coyoacán. Look for routes such as the Metrobus Line 3 which can take you directly to Coyoacán. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the Coyoacán stop. Once you get off, head towards Jardín Plaza Hidalgo. The house is located at Jardín Plaza Hidalgo 1, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Coyoacán area, Hernan Cortés' House is located in Jardín Plaza Hidalgo. Simply ask for directions to Plaza Hidalgo, and you should be able to walk there easily. The house is situated right at the entrance of the plaza, making it a prominent landmark in the area.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  You can use a taxi or a rideshare app like Uber. Simply input 'Hernan Cortés' House, Jardín Plaza Hidalgo 1, Coyoacán' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the location. This is a convenient option if you have luggage or prefer a direct route without any transfers.
