Getting There

  • Metro

    From Roma, walk to the nearest Metro station, which is 'Insurgentes' on Line 1 (the pink line). Board the train heading towards Pantitlán and travel for two stops. Get off at 'Balderas' station. Transfer to Line 3 (the olive green line) and board the train towards Indios Verdes. Ride for three stops and get off at 'Zócalo/Tenochtitlan' station. From the station, follow the signs to Plaza de la Constitución, which is just a short walk away.

  • Bus

    You can also catch a bus from Roma. Head to Av. Álvaro Obregón and look for a bus marked 'Centro' or 'Zócalo'. The fare is approximately 10 pesos. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the 'Pino Suárez' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Plaza de la Constitución.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start from the heart of Roma. Head east on Av. Monterrey towards Av. Cuauhtémoc. Turn right onto Av. Cuauhtémoc and continue straight until you reach Eje Central. Turn left on Eje Central and continue walking until you see signs for Plaza de la Constitución. This route is approximately 3 km and will take about 35-45 minutes.

  • Bicycle

    For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many bike-sharing stations in Roma. Head towards Eje Central and ride straight down until you reach the area of Plaza de la Constitución. Ensure to follow traffic rules and wear a helmet. The bike rental usually costs around 30 pesos for an hour.
