If you are already in the Centro area, the Arco de la Independencia is easily accessible by foot. Start at the Plaza de la Independencia, located at Av. Morelos. From there, head southwest on Av. Morelos towards the intersection with Av. Pino Suárez. Continue straight until you reach Av. Pino Suárez. Turn left onto Av. Pino Suárez and walk about 500 meters. You'll see the Arco de la Independencia on your right. The walk should take about 8-10 minutes.
