Getting there

Car

If you are driving from the center of Mulege, head south on Highway 1 (Carretera Transpeninsular) towards San Ignacio. After approximately 5 kilometers, look for a sign indicating Playa El Burro. Turn right onto the dirt road that leads to the beach. The road may be rough in some areas, so drive cautiously. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the parking area near the beach.

Public Transportation

To reach Playa El Burro via public transportation, start at the main bus terminal in Mulege. Look for local colectivos (shared vans) heading towards the beaches. Inform the driver that you want to go to Playa El Burro. The fare is usually around 30-50 pesos. The colectivo will drop you off at the nearest point to the beach, from where you may have to walk about 500 meters to reach the sand.

Walking

If you're already in the Mulege town area and prefer to walk, head south along the main road toward the beach. This is about a 5-kilometer walk, which will take approximately 1 hour. Follow the signs pointing toward the beaches, and enjoy the scenic views. Ensure to bring water and sun protection, as there may not be shade along the way.
