Purchase a ticket to Amecameca, which typically costs around 50 MXN and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Buses leave frequently throughout the day. Once you arrive at the Amecameca bus station, exit the terminal and look for local taxis or shared vans that are heading towards Paso de Cortés. Confirm with the driver that they are going to either Paso de Cortés or Tlamacaxco.

  • Shared Van

    After arriving in Amecameca, you can take a shared van (known as 'colectivo') that goes directly to Paso de Cortés. These vans typically leave from the same area where the bus drops you off. The fare is usually around 30 MXN. The ride should take about 30 minutes. Make sure to mention 'Paso de Cortés' to the driver to ensure you are on the right route.
