Getting There

  • Walking

    From El Campanario, head southeast on Avenida de la Luz towards Avenida del Sol. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 5 de Febrero. Cross the avenue and continue straight on Avenida 5 de Febrero. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a bus stop. Here, you can catch a bus heading towards the city center (Centro) which will cost approximately 10 MXN.

    Take the bus that goes to Centro. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop near Plaza de Armas. From there, you can see the main square, which is a good reference point. Head east along Calle 5 de Febrero and then turn right onto Calle Independencia.

  • Walking

    Continue walking down Calle Independencia for about 200 meters. You will soon see Museo Casa de la Zacatecana on your left at C. Independencia 59. Make sure to look for the entrance which is marked clearly.
