If you are driving from Playa del Carmen, take the Carretera 307 north towards Tulum. Continue on this road for about 40 km (approximately 30 minutes). Once you reach Tulum, take the exit for Carretera 109 towards Coba. Follow Carretera 109 for about 25 km until you reach the junction with Carretera Coba Nuevo Xcan. Turn left onto Carretera Coba Nuevo Xcan and continue for about 5 km. Look for the signs directing you to Punta Laguna Spider Monkey and Nature Reserve on your right. The reserve entrance is located at Punta Laguna 49 Carretera Coba Nuevo Xcan, Centro, 77390 Punta Laguna, Q.R. Parking is available on site, typically for free.

To reach Punta Laguna via public transportation from Tulum, start by taking a colectivo (shared van) from Tulum's main bus station heading towards Coba. The fare is usually around 50 pesos per person. The journey takes about 45 minutes. After arriving in Coba, you will need to hire a taxi to take you to Punta Laguna. The taxi ride will cost approximately 200-300 pesos and takes about 15-20 minutes. Ensure to negotiate the fare before getting in the taxi.
