Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the central market (Mercado de Taxco), head east on Calle Cuauhtémoc for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Agustín de Tolsa. Turn left onto Agustín de Tolsa and continue walking straight for approximately 4 minutes. You will notice the vibrant atmosphere of the streets filled with shops and restaurants. Zocalo, located at Agustín de Tolsa 9, will be on your right, easily identifiable by its beautiful park and the impressive surrounding colonial architecture.

    If you are near the Santa Prisca Church, exit the church and head north on Calle de la Luz. After about 2 minutes, take a left onto Calle Cuauhtémoc.
