From anywhere in Tijuana, make your way to the Tijuana-San Ysidro border crossing. You can take a local bus or a taxi to reach the border. Upon crossing into the United States, you will enter San Ysidro. From there, take the Blue Line Trolley at the San Ysidro Transit Center towards 'America Plaza'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Old Town' station. Once you exit the trolley, transfer to bus number 30 (or 992) towards 'La Jolla'. Ride the bus for about 40 minutes. You will want to get off at the stop near the intersection of Torrey Pines Rd and Prospect St. Walk west on Prospect St until you reach the coast, where you will find the Coast Walk Trail. The trailhead is located at 32.8487571 latitude and -117.2682813 longitude.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing service from your location in Tijuana to the San Ysidro border crossing.
