Getting There

• Public Bus

  From your current location in Tijuana, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the Tijuana to San Diego bus (Greyhound or other services). Make sure to have your passport or necessary travel documents ready for border crossing. After arriving at the San Ysidro border crossing, clear customs and immigration, then follow the signs to the San Diego Trolley station. Take the Blue Line Trolley towards 'Old Town' and get off at the 'Santa Fe Depot' station. From there, transfer to the COASTER train towards 'Oceanside' and disembark at the 'Sorrento Valley' station. From Sorrento Valley, you can take a taxi or rideshare service directly to Cuvier Park in La Jolla, which is about a 15-minute drive.

  If you're at a central location in Tijuana like Avenida Revolución, you can easily find a taxi or rideshare service like Uber. Inform the driver that you want to go to Cuvier Park, located at 590 Coast S Blvd, La Jolla, CA 92037. The ride will take you to the San Ysidro border crossing, where you will need to clear customs and immigration. After crossing into the United States, continue the ride towards La Jolla, which should take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

• Walking and Public Transport

  If you prefer to use public transportation and enjoy some walking, you can head to the Tijuana bus terminal and take a bus to San Diego. After clearing customs at the San Ysidro border, walk to the 'San Ysidro Transit Center' and catch the Blue Line Trolley towards 'Downtown San Diego'. Get off at the 'Santa Fe Depot' station. From there, take the COASTER train towards 'Oceanside' and get off at the 'Sorrento Valley' station. From Sorrento Valley, you can walk or take a short taxi ride to Cuvier Park, which is located about 3 miles away.
