Public Bus

To get to La Jolla in San Diego from Tijuana, first, walk to the Tijuana-San Diego border crossing at El Chaparral. After crossing the border, take the San Ysidro Transit Center, which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the border. From the Transit Center, catch the Route 120 bus heading towards La Jolla. The bus ride to La Jolla should take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in La Jolla, get off at the stop closest to your destination or refer to a local map for specific locations within La Jolla.
Trolley

After crossing the border into San Diego, proceed to the San Ysidro Trolley Station, which is a short walk from the border. Take the Blue Line trolley towards Downtown San Diego.
