Getting There

• Public Transport

  From the Tijuana city center, walk to the nearest Trolebus station, which is located at Avenida Revolución. Take the Trolebus towards the 'Zona Río' and disembark at the last stop. From there, you will need to transfer to the Metro bus. Board the bus that goes to the US border, and get off at the San Ysidro border crossing. After crossing the border into the United States, you will find yourself in San Diego. From the San Ysidro border, you can take the Blue Line Metro towards 'Old Town'. Get off at the 'Washington St' station. From there, transfer to bus number 30 towards La Jolla. Disembark at the stop closest to 'Coast Blvd'. You will then need to walk approximately 10 minutes to reach La Jolla Coast Walks, located at 1249 Coast Blvd.

• Walking

  If you prefer walking after crossing the border, from the San Ysidro border crossing, walk towards the Otay Mesa area, where you can catch a bus to downtown San Diego. Once in downtown San Diego, follow the same instructions as mentioned above for the Metro bus and then the bus to La Jolla.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you want a more direct route, consider using a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) from the Tijuana city center to the San Ysidro border crossing. Once you cross into the United States, you can once again use a rideshare service or taxi to take you directly to La Jolla Coast Walks at 1249 Coast Blvd.
