Public Bus
From downtown Tijuana, head to the nearest bus stop along Avenida Revolución. Look for the bus marked 'La Jolla' or 'San Diego.' Board the bus and enjoy the ride for approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive at the border, disembark and follow signs towards the pedestrian crossing. Once you cross into the U.S., continue walking towards the bus terminal. From there, catch a bus to La Jolla. The closest stop to your destination is at Prospect Street. Walk a few blocks towards Prospect Street and you will find the La Jolla Historical Society at 780 Prospect St.

If you're near Avenida Revolución or any major hotel, you can easily hail a taxi. Simply ask the driver to take you to 780 Prospect St, La Jolla, CA. The journey will take around 40-50 minutes, including crossing the border. Make sure to have your passport ready for the border crossing. The taxi will drop you off directly in front of the La Jolla Historical Society.

Walking from the Border
If you prefer to walk, after crossing the border, head towards the San Ysidro trolley station. Take the trolley towards 'America Plaza' and transfer to the blue line towards 'Old Town' at the Santa Fe Depot. Get off at the 'San Diego' stop and then take a bus towards La Jolla. Disembark at Prospect Street and walk towards 780 Prospect St. The La Jolla Historical Society will be on your left.
