Public Transportation
To reach the Lifeguard Tower Children's Pool at 850 Coast Blvd, La Jolla, CA 92037 from central Tijuana, you can take a bus to the San Ysidro border crossing. From there, cross the border into the United States, ensuring you have the necessary identification. After crossing, look for the MTS (Metropolitan Transit System) buses. Take the Blue Line Trolley towards UC San Diego. Get off at the 'Old Town' station and transfer to bus number 30, which will take you directly to La Jolla. The bus will stop near the coast; disembark at the La Jolla Cove stop. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk along Coast Blvd to reach the Lifeguard Tower Children's Pool.
Walking
If you find yourself at La Jolla Cove after disembarking from the bus, head northwest on Coast Blvd. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Continue walking, and you'll soon see the iconic Children's Pool, which is just a short stroll from the cove. The Lifeguard Tower will be visible ahead, and you can enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean along the way.
