Trolley
From the center of Tijuana, walk to the San Ysidro Trolley Station, which is about 15 minutes away on foot. Buy a ticket at the station for the San Diego Trolley. After crossing into the United States, take the blue line towards 'Old Town'. Get off at the 'Mission Beach' stop, which is the last stop on this line. From there, it's a short walk to the beach.

Head to the Tijuana bus terminal located at Blvd. Agua Caliente. Look for a bus heading towards the San Ysidro border. Once you cross the border into the United States, you can take a bus from San Ysidro to the Pacific Beach area. Buses 30 and 35 will take you close to Mission Beach. Get off at the stop nearest to the beach and walk towards the ocean.
