    From the center of Tijuana, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the Route 5 bus, which goes to the San Ysidro border crossing. Make sure you have small change or a transport card ready. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you reach the San Ysidro border, get off and follow the signs to the border crossing. After crossing into the United States, continue on foot to the San Diego Trolley station, which is located just a few blocks from the border. From there, you can take the Blue Line Trolley towards 'Old Town' or 'San Ysidro' and get off at 'America Plaza' station for direct access to downtown San Diego.

From the border, walk straight to find yourself at the San Diego Trolley station.
