Getting There

• Public Bus

  From downtown Tijuana, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Revolución. Take bus number 225 heading towards San Ysidro. The bus will take you to the San Ysidro border crossing. Once you cross into the United States, you will arrive in San Diego. From the San Ysidro bus terminal, transfer to the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus number 992 towards Downtown San Diego. Get off at the stop at Broadway & 5th Ave. Walk east on Broadway until you reach Pan American Plaza. The San Diego Air & Space Museum will be on your left at 2001 Pan American Plaza.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  In Tijuana, you can catch a taxi or use a rideshare app like Uber. Request a ride to the San Ysidro border crossing. Once you arrive at the border, walk across to the United States. After crossing, you can either take another taxi or rideshare to the San Diego Air & Space Museum at 2001 Pan American Plaza. If you choose to take public transit, you can also walk to the nearby bus terminal and take the MTS bus number 992 towards Downtown San Diego.

• Walking

  If you are already near the US-Mexico border in Tijuana, you can walk to the San Ysidro border crossing. After crossing into the United States, follow the signs to the San Diego trolley or bus services. From the border, it is about a 15-minute walk to the San Ysidro bus terminal. There, take the MTS bus number 992 towards Downtown San Diego and get off at Broadway & 5th Ave. Walk east on Broadway until you reach Pan American Plaza, where the San Diego Air & Space Museum is located.
