Getting There

• Bus

  If you are in Tijuana, head to the nearest bus stop and look for a bus that goes to the San Ysidro border crossing. Once you arrive at the border, you can walk through the pedestrian crossing into the United States. After crossing the border, continue walking straight until you reach the San Diego Trolley station at San Ysidro. Take the Blue Line Trolley towards Downtown San Diego. Get off at the 'Civic Center' station. From there, walk north on 3rd Avenue and then turn left onto Park Blvd. The San Diego Central Library will be on your right at 330 Park Blvd.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a direct route, you can take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) from anywhere in Tijuana to the San Ysidro border crossing. Once you arrive at the border, you will need to walk through the pedestrian crossing. After entering the United States, you can either walk to the San Diego Central Library or take another taxi or rideshare directly to 330 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101.

• Walking

  If you are near the border, you can walk to the San Ysidro border crossing. After crossing into the United States, follow signs for the San Diego Trolley and board the Blue Line towards Downtown San Diego. Get off at 'Civic Center' station, then walk north on 3rd Avenue until you reach Park Blvd. Turn left onto Park Blvd, and the San Diego Central Library will be on your right at 330 Park Blvd.
