Public Bus
From Tijuana, head to the main bus terminal (Central de Autobuses de Tijuana), which is located at Boulevard Pio Pico 1000. You can take a taxi or a local bus to get there. Once at the terminal, purchase a ticket for a bus heading to San Diego, specifically looking for the Greyhound or Cross Border Xpress services. The trip will take about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic and border crossing times. After crossing the border, you will arrive at the San Diego Greyhound Station located at 1313 National Ave, San Diego. From there, take a local bus (Route 923) towards the airport. Get off at the stop nearest to Harbor Drive, and walk towards 3900 N Harbor Dr, which is Spanish Landing Park (West). The park will be a short 10-minute walk.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Tijuana directly to Spanish Landing Park in San Diego. Ask your hotel or local information center to help you call a taxi. The driver will cross the border into the U.S. on the San Ysidro border crossing. The journey can take around 30-60 minutes, depending on traffic and border wait times. Make sure to provide the driver with the address: 3900 N Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101.
Walking and Bus Combination
If you are located near the San Ysidro border crossing, you can walk across the border into San Diego. Once you are through customs, head to the San Ysidro Trolley station and take the Blue Line Trolley towards UTC. Get off at the 'America Plaza' station. From there, transfer to the local bus (Route 923) towards the airport. Disembark at the stop closest to Harbor Drive and walk the rest of the way to Spanish Landing Park (West), located at 3900 N Harbor Dr. This option combines walking and public transport and may take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
