Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Tijuana, head to the main terminal at the Tijuana Bus Station (Central de Autobuses). Take a bus heading towards San Diego. The most common bus companies are 'Greyhound' and 'Mexican bus services'. Make sure you have your passport with you, as you will cross the border. Once you arrive at the San Ysidro border crossing, follow the signs to pedestrian crossing. After clearing customs, continue to the San Diego Trolley station nearby. Take the Blue Line towards 'Downtown San Diego'. Get off at the 'Old Town' station.

    From the 'Old Town' trolley station, transfer to the 'Green Line' trolley towards 'Santee'. Travel to the 'Mission Valley Center' station where you will transfer to a bus. Look for the bus stop for the 'MTS Bus 30' heading towards 'La Jolla'.

  • Bus

    Once on the 'MTS Bus 30', stay on the bus until you reach 'N. Torrey Pines Rd & La Jolla Shores'. From here, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile. Head west on La Jolla Shores Dr, then turn right onto Torrey Pines Scenic Dr. Follow the road, and you will arrive at Torrey Pines Gliderport, located at 2800 Torrey Pines Scenic Dr.
