From central Tulum, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops. Head north on Avenida Tulum until you reach the Tulum ruins. Continue on the same road, which will eventually turn into Avenida Principal as you approach Coba. Follow the signs to Coba, and after about a 45-minute ride, you will arrive at Aldea Maya U Sasil Uuj. The botanical garden is located on Avenida Principal in Coba, approximately 1 km from the main town square.

From Tulum, walk to the main colectivo station located on Avenida Tulum. Look for a colectivo heading to Coba (the fare is usually around 50 pesos). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Coba, ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the Aldea Maya U Sasil Uuj. It’s a short walk from the main road (Avenida Principal) to the botanical garden, located about 1 km down the road.
