Getting There

• Bicycle

  If you're staying in Tulum town, a great way to reach Casa Tortuga is by bicycle. Rent a bike from one of the local shops in town. Head east on Avenida Tulum until you reach the intersection with the main highway (Carretera Cancún - Tulum). Turn right on the highway and continue for about 3.5 kilometers. Casa Tortuga will be on your right, just past the Ejidal neighborhood.

• Walking

  For those who prefer walking, start from the Tulum town central plaza. Head east on Avenida Tulum, then turn left onto Calle Centauro. Follow this street until you reach the highway. From there, carefully cross the highway and continue walking along the shoulder heading south for about 3.5 kilometers. Be cautious of traffic, as this route does not have sidewalks. Casa Tortuga will be on your right.

• Collective Taxi (Colectivo)

  To get to Casa Tortuga using a colectivo, walk to the main colectivo stop located on Avenida Tulum near the central plaza. Look for a colectivo heading towards Playa del Carmen. Once on board, inform the driver that you want to get off at Casa Tortuga. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, and you'll be dropped off right in front of the location.

• Public Bus

  From Tulum town, you can take a public bus towards Playa del Carmen. Board the bus at the main bus terminal on Avenida Tulum. The buses are frequent and the ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Request to stop at Casa Tortuga, and the bus will let you off right in front of the attraction.
