Bicycle
If you're in Tulum town, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head south on Av. Tulum until you reach the intersection with Calle Centauro. Turn right onto Calle Centauro and continue straight until you intersect with the main highway (Carretera Tulum-Cancún). Turn left onto the highway and pedal for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye out for the sign indicating 'Cenote Sagrado' on your right; it's located at Km 240. Once you see the entrance, lock your bike and enjoy your visit.
Collective Taxi (Colectivo)
From Tulum town, walk to the main colectivo station located on Av. Tulum, close to the bus station. Look for a colectivo heading to Playa del Carmen or Akumal. The fare is approximately 30 pesos. Inform the driver that you want to stop at 'Cenote Sagrado' at Km 240. The colectivo will drop you off at the designated area; from there, it's a short walk to the entrance. Make sure to check the driver's stop before getting off!
Walking
If you're staying nearby, you can walk to Cenote Sagrado. Start at the Tulum Ruins. Head back towards the main road (Carretera Tulum-Cancún) and turn left. Walk along the highway for about 30 minutes, enjoying the scenery of the lush surroundings. You'll pass a few small shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the sign for Cenote Sagrado at Km 240; it's on your right side. The entrance is a little off the main road, so be prepared for a short walk once you see the sign.
