From your accommodation in Tulum, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head north on Avenida Tulum, then take a left onto Carretera Tulum Boca Paila and continue straight. Follow the road until you reach the intersection with Carretera a Punta Sur. Turn right and continue until you arrive at Playa El Cielo.

If you prefer to walk, start at the main square (Plaza Principal) in Tulum. Walk north on Avenida Tulum until you reach Carretera Tulum Boca Paila. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Carretera a Punta Sur. From there, turn right and proceed straight to Playa El Cielo.

Locate a colectivo stop on Avenida Tulum, where you can catch a shared taxi heading towards Playa Del Carmen. Ask the driver to drop you off at the intersection of Carretera a Punta Sur. From there, it's a short walk to Playa El Cielo. Just head straight along Carretera a Punta Sur.
