Bicycle
If you're staying in Tulum town, renting a bicycle is a great way to reach Playa Maya. Head north on Avenida Tulum until you reach the intersection with the main highway (Carretera Tulum-Cancún). Turn left onto the highway and continue until you see the signs for Zona Hotelera. After about 10-15 minutes of cycling, you'll reach Playa Maya. Look for signs indicating the beach access, and enjoy the ride along the scenic route!

Walking
Walking to Playa Maya is an option if you're not too far from the beach. From the center of Tulum, head north on Avenida Tulum until you reach the Carretera Tulum-Cancún. Cross the highway carefully and follow the signs for Zona Hotelera. This walk will take approximately 45 minutes. You can enjoy the views and perhaps stop at local shops or cafes along the way.

Shared Taxi (Colectivo)
To get to Playa Maya using a colectivo, find the colectivos stationed along Avenida Tulum near the main square. Board a colectivo heading to the Zona Hotelera and inform the driver that you want to go to Playa Maya. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to get off at the nearest access point to the beach, and follow the signs to the Playa Maya entrance.
