The Tulum Sea Turtle and Rays 1.5 Hours Snorkel Experience

Great tour!

Booked this for a bachelorette trip and it was as advertised! They took us out to see the ruins from the water first and then took us to the site to see sea turtles and sting rays. Then they took us to a second area to see the coral reef! It was so much fun! Sadly someone in our group got sea sick though so I recommend Dramamine especially for when the boat is anchored and just rocking. That aside, great experience for animal lovers!

Excellent local tour company!!

Amazing company! These guys were incredible and I can’t say enough great things about them. We booked several tours while on vacation last week but our time with Carey Tours was by far the best experience. Our tour guide, Alex, was extremely knowledgeable about the ruins, the location and the languages of the area. He created a personalized experience for us and there wasn’t a single question he couldn’t answer. Alex knew the best time to visit the cenote and we had to whole place to ourselves. Once we arrived in Akumal for the turtle tour, Alex introduced us to Manuel, the turtle guide for Carey Tours. Manuel was amazing, especially with my little girl. He held on to her the entire time we were in the ocean and never took his eyes off of her. We saw many turtles and he knew exactly where to go to find more. We used some larger tour companies on this vacation but we were disappointed in the experience we had with them. Next year, we will stay with the small local company that cares more about personal experience than cramming as many people as possible into a tour. Thank you, Carey Tours, for such a memorable day and we will see you next year! Megan, Kadence & Maren. Virginia, United States.
