Bicycle
From the center of Tulum, head to the main avenue, Avenida Tulum. Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops nearby. Once you have your bike, ride north on Avenida Tulum until you reach the intersection with Calle 7. Turn right onto Calle 7 and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Coba. Turn left onto Avenida Coba and keep riding for about 2 km. You will see signs for Gran Cenote on your right. Follow the signs, and the entrance will be on your right at Quintana Roo 109.
Walking
If you prefer walking, start from the main square in Tulum. Walk north along Avenida Tulum towards the beach. After about 1 km, turn right onto Calle 7 and continue straight until you hit Avenida Coba. Turn left on Avenida Coba and walk for roughly 2 km. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Gran Cenote. The entrance is located on your right at Quintana Roo 109.
Taxi
If you're looking for a quicker option, you can take a taxi. Simply find a taxi stand or hail one from the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Gran Cenote, located on Quintana Roo 109. The trip should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure to confirm the fare before starting your trip.
Collectivo
For a more economical option, take a collectivo (shared van). Head to the collectivo terminal on Avenida Tulum, where you will find vans heading to various destinations, including Gran Cenote. Ask the driver to drop you off at Gran Cenote. The fare is usually around 30-50 pesos. Once you arrive, you will need to walk a short distance to the entrance at Quintana Roo 109.
