If you are near the Malecon (the boardwalk), start walking towards the north along the waterfront. As you stroll, you will pass various shops and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Avenida Miguel Alemán. Turn right onto Avenida Miguel Alemán and continue walking for about 10 minutes until you see the large Monumento De Veracruz on your left at Faros. The monument is hard to miss due to its height and prominent location.

Locate a nearby bus stop where buses heading towards Faros pass. You can ask locals for the right bus number, but common ones include those labeled 'Faros'. Board the bus and pay the fare (usually a small amount). Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of Avenida Miguel Alemán and Faros. From there, it's a short walk to the monument, which will be visible ahead.
