Car
If you are driving, start from Playa del Carmen. Take the Carretera 307 (Highway 307) heading south towards Tulum. After passing Tulum, continue on Highway 307 until you reach the junction with Highway 184. Take the exit onto Highway 184 towards Felipe Carrillo Puerto. Continue on Highway 184 for approximately 30 km until you reach Kantemó. Follow the signs to the 'Cueva de las Serpientes Colgantes'. The cave is located on the Carretera Tihosuco - Dziuche, just outside of the town.
Public Transportation
To reach the Hanging Snakes Cave using public transportation, take an ADO bus from Playa del Carmen to Felipe Carrillo Puerto. The bus ride takes around 1.5 to 2 hours and costs about 150-200 MXN. Once you arrive at Felipe Carrillo Puerto, you can take a local taxi to Kantemó. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes and may cost around 300-400 MXN. Inform the driver to take you to 'Cueva de las Serpientes Colgantes.'
