The flight takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Yap, you can drive to Maap. From the Yap airport, head southwest on the main road for about 12 miles (20 km) until you reach the Maap village area. Look for signs directing you towards the local attractions.
Public Transportation (Bus)
If you prefer public transportation, take a taxi or shuttle from your accommodation in Pohnpei to the Pohnpei International Airport. From there, board a flight to Yap. Upon arriving in Yap, you can use the local bus services that run to various villages including Maap. Be sure to confirm with the bus driver if they stop in Maap, as the routes may vary. The bus fare is typically around $1-$2. The journey will take around 30 minutes from the bus station to Maap.
Ferry (if available)
