Walking
Start from Kolonia, the capital city of Pohnpei. Head towards the main road (Nanmwa Highway) that runs along the coast. Follow the road south for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction at Sokehs Island. At the junction, continue straight towards the Sokehs Mountain area. After another 3 kilometers, you will come across a small local village. Here, ask locals for the path to Sipyen waterfall, as they can guide you to the nearest trailhead.
Hiking
Once you reach the trailhead, follow the marked path which will lead you through lush vegetation. The hike to Sipyen waterfall takes about 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. The trail can be uneven, so wear comfortable hiking shoes. Along the way, enjoy the natural beauty and listen for the sound of the waterfall as you approach. Be sure to take breaks as needed and follow any signs or markers to stay on the correct path.
