Car
If you're driving from Duluth, MN, take MN-61 N for about 120 miles. This scenic route hugs the North Shore of Lake Superior, offering beautiful views along the way. As you approach Grand Marais, keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards the downtown area. Once in Grand Marais, follow the signs to the harbor, which is located right in the heart of the town. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require a parking fee.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from Minneapolis to Grand Marais. The bus will drop you off at a location in the town. From there, the harbor is about a half-mile walk. Follow the Main Street towards the lake, and you will find Grand Marais Harbor at the end of the street.
