If you are driving to Lum Park from anywhere in Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area, take MN-6 S for about 15 miles until you reach the intersection with MN-210 E. Turn right onto MN-210 E and continue for approximately 12 miles. As you enter Brainerd, keep an eye out for NE Washington St; turn left onto Washington St. Lum Park will be on your right at 1619 NE Washington St. There is free parking available on-site.

To reach Lum Park using public transportation, you can take a local bus service to Brainerd from Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area. Check the schedule for the nearest bus stop and route that goes to Brainerd. Once you arrive in Brainerd, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to Lum Park.
