Public Transit - Bus
If you are starting from the Duluth Transit Center, located at 215 S 1st Ave W, you can take the Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) bus route 4 or 5. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at '1st St & Lake Ave'. This will place you just a short walk from Downtown Duluth. Once you get off the bus, walk west on 1st St for about 3 blocks and you will arrive at 5 W 1st St, the heart of Downtown Duluth.

If you are nearby, for instance at the Great Lakes Aquarium, you can walk to Downtown Duluth. Start by heading west on W Railroad St. Continue straight until you reach 1st Ave W, then turn left. Walk south on 1st Ave W until you reach 1st St. Turn right and walk for about 5 minutes. You will reach Downtown Duluth at 5 W 1st St.

Biking
For those who prefer biking, if you are near Lakewalk, you can take the bike path that runs along the lake. Follow the Lakewalk towards the city, which will eventually connect you to the downtown area. Once you reach the end of the Lakewalk at 3rd Ave E, turn left and continue on 3rd Ave E until you reach 1st St. From there, take a right onto 1st St and head west until you arrive at Downtown Duluth, specifically at 5 W 1st St.
